In a world where financial systems often contribute more to inertia than innovation, Sveta Banerjee is building something different: a capital ecosystem based not only on returns but also on responsibility and collaboration. As the founder of Impact Investing Solutions, she has spent over a decade dismantling the barriers between money and purpose. Today, with the creation of the World Impact Centre, they are designing the infrastructure to scale that transformation globally.
Sveta's path to impact began in the classrooms of traditional finance, where she wrote her university thesis on sustainable mining. It was there that she discovered the devastating consequences of extractive industries—and the enormous power capital holds to either perpetuate harm or create solutions. “It was like a moment of enlightenment,” she recalls. “If we can generate profits and positive impact at the same time, why aren't we all doing it?”
That personal conviction became a professional mission: to democratize access to knowledge, connect capital with solutions, and bring more people into the field of meaningful investment. From public workshops in Zurich to television programs, Sveta's work has focused on pushing a new financial paradigm forward.
World Impact Centre: A Blueprint for the Future
Today, her boldest endeavor is the World Impact Centre—a multisectoral, tech-enabled hub that seeks to accelerate the flow of capital toward the planet’s most urgent challenges. It’s a concrete response to the bottleneck the Banerjees have identified as the most severe in the impact ecosystem: the slowness and lack of precision with which capital moves.
Despite growing awareness of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), capital remains largely inaccessible to those leading change on the ground. “On average, it takes a company one to two years to secure funding—and many times, they never get it,” Sveta explains. “We’re 62 years behind in achieving the SDGs. We need to act now.”

To address this, the Centre is developing an AI-powered matchmaking system—reportedly 15 times faster and more efficient than generic tools—that connects investors with high-impact ventures. But it’s not just about speed. It’s about conscious design: connecting governments, investors, academics, entrepreneurs, and civil society in a space where capital creates impact.
They’re also going beyond financial resources: designing awareness programs for investors, including Atma Kriya Yoga retreats and personal purpose exploration. “We want to meet people where they are and help them grow,” says Sveta. “This goes beyond impact—it’s a mindset evolution.”
For Sveta, success is not measured only in numbers, but in the real flow of transformational capital. They aim to help fund thousands of projects, connect thousands of actors, and mobilize billions. And to see countries adopt impact investing as the norm, not the exception.
“Unity is the next frontier,” says Sveta. “Unity among people. Unity with nature. Unity in data.”
A Call to Action
Her message is clear and urgent: act with love. Whether you are an entrepreneur, public official, academic, or investor, there is something you can do:
Ask where your money is going.
Integrate sustainability into your work.
Educate others about sustainable development.
And if you are in government, serve: you were elected to serve the people, not the other way around.
“Give your heart to impact,” Sveta concludes. “That’s the first step to changing the world.” Source: https://www.infobae.com/peru/2025/05/26/sveta-banerjee-impulsando-una-revolucion-del-capital-consciente/
