Investment Thesis & Opportunity
SRG's entire mission is to address systemic social issues and fill the capacity gap at the grassroots level, making its alignment strongly focused on the means of implementation and the core development challenges outlined by the UN. The Investment Thesis is based on the premise that while social issues are systemic, small grassroots development players are hindered by a lack of capacity, resources, and network. SRG addresses this critical need through innovation, providing a system that allows these smaller players to attain sustainability and constancy in mission. The Opportunity lies in investing in the efficiency of philanthropy itself, allowing charitable organizations to be "fund-receiver ready" and dramatically increasing the Return on Investment for donors. The tangible impact is evidenced by PDOs (Philanthropic Development Office) achieving average returns (Funds Raised per Peso Invested in PDO Admin) ranging from 238% to an astounding 4674% in one case.
Business Model, Market Opportunity, & Strategy
SRG's core service model is built around the proprietary 7-Pillar Capacitation Model and the establishment of the Philanthropic Development Office (PDO) infrastructure. The PDO acts as a professional team coordinating fundraising and monitoring impact. The Business Model generates revenue through Retainership, Consulting Fees, and Coaching Fees for its services, and through a Membership program to grow the "Ecosystem of Good". The five main service categories are Consultancy, Membership, Training and Development, Accreditation, and Fund Facilitation. The long-term strategy is focused on building capacities in Leadership & Governance, developing Financial Roadmaps, and integrating Data Management to accurately assess and maximize the collective impact.
Financial Performance, Terms, & Target Returns
Since its inception, SRG has capacitated 180 Philanthropic Development Offices, which collectively have raised $14.5M. This collective impact has reached 6.5 Million Individuals and 27,148 Families across 986 Communities.
